Your Right to a Good Faith Estimate

Under the No Surprises Act (H.R. 133 – effective January 1, 2022), healthcare providers are required to give clients who don’t have insurance or choose not to use it an estimate of expected costs for services.

This Good Faith Estimate (GFE) outlines the expected costs for your care so you have a clear idea of what to anticipate. You have the right to receive this estimate for any non-emergency services before starting treatment.

Please note that the GFE is based on expected costs and does not include unexpected fees that may arise if complications or unique circumstances occur during your care. If you have any questions, feel free to ask!
